Automation system development and implementation made on the AREVA Company equipment base for high and middle voltage substations. Made all kind of project works of Operations Department functionalities and scope: • determining, implementing and monitoring engineering strategies, policies and plans • interpreting plans, drawings and specifications, and providing advice on engineering methods and procedures to achieve construction and production requirements • establishing project schedules and budgets • ensuring conformity with specifications and plans, and with regulations and safety standards • ensuring engineering standards of quality, cost, safety timeliness and performance are observed • overseeing maintenance requirements to optimise efficiency • liaising with marketing and research managers regarding engineering aspects to research and development of new projects Leaded first Russian project based on the new AREVA platform (PACiSTM) as Project Engineer after two months I was employed. Substation 330kV, Grozny, Russia. Leaded and completed three projects as Project Engineer. Close cooperated with designers: “Institut Energia”, Almaty, Kazakhstan; “Teploenergoproekt (TEP)”, Moscow, Russia, AREVA AFS, Drezden. Participated to multinational project on EU site (French).

Automation power quality control and data acquisition systems development for wide area electrical networks. Leaded and completed as Technical Leader three projects: “Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez (NORSI)” oil refinery plant, Kstovo, Russia. Six substations. “Kaliningradmorneft” oil production company, Kaliningrad, Russia. Five substations. “Aikhalski GOK” mining plant, Aikhal, Russia. Made (completely) work in accordance to Additional Agreements for two metallurgical plants and one mining plant. Made technical presentation for President of Russian Railroads Company (OAO “RJD”).

Participated into development of different automation systems on all stages: development of technical requirements, substation’s pre-project investigation, equipment functional features analysis, design, testing and accepting from end customer side. Tested different integration solution for the future used SCADAs with old “LISNA” telecommunication system. Made ExcelVBA-based system for automatic SCADA configuration. Recipient of the North Railroad Chief’s Certificate of Merit 2003.
